Acceptable Use Policy

At Trustie we have a few rules about what's acceptable, and what's not, when using our Trustie Platform and Services.

How You Can (and Can't) Use Trustie

We're all about making finance simple and accessible, but that means using Trustie responsibly.

Here's what you need to know:

• ✅ Stick to the rules – You agree to follow our Terms & Conditions and Policies (these are listed in our Terms & Conditions) when using Trustie.
• 🚫 Don't use Trustie for anything illegal: This includes anything that breaks local, national, or international laws or that could cause us to do so.
• 🚫 No fraud or misleading activity: Be honest when using Trustie, you cannot commit any fraud or doing anything that is misleading.
• 🚫 No harm to minors: Don't use Trustie in a way that could harm or attempt to harm any under-18s.
• 🚫 No abusive or inappropriate content: Keep things friendly. Anything offensive, harassing, or violating our content standards (detailed in our User Content Policy) isn't allowed.
• 🚫 No spam or scams: That includes sending unauthorised ads, promotions, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or anything similar.
• 🚫 No sneaky data collection: You can't access or collect other users' info without their permission.
• 🚫 No financial dodging: Don't use Trustie to avoid taxes or facilitate tax evasion (whether locally or internationally).
• 🚫 Avoid Disputes: Don't do anything in Trustie that could likely lead to complaints, disputes, chargebacks or any other liability - whether for you, us or anyone else.
• 🚫 Personal use only: The Trustie Platform and Services are for you, not your business. Don't sell or share it with others.
• 🚫 No impersonation: Be yourself! Don't pretend to be someone else or falsely claim a connection to a person or organisation.
• 🚫 Don't help others break the rules: If it's not allowed for you, don't assist or encourage someone else to breach any of the Terms or rules in this Policy.

Unacceptable Activity on Trustie

We're all about keeping Trustie safe, fair, and fun for everyone.

To do that, here are some things (but it's not limited just to this list), that aren't okay:

• 🚨 Harassment, abuse, or impersonation: Be kind to other users. Don't threaten, harass, intimidate, or impersonate anyone.
• 🚨 Privacy violations: Respect people's personal information and don't breach their privacy.
• 🚨 Interfering with other users: Don't disrupt how others use or enjoy Trustie, don't act in a way that is threatening, defamatory, obscene to other users.
• 🚨 Breaking our community standards: This includes inappropriate posts, comments, or messages on the Trustie social forum (see our Acceptable Use Policy)
• 🚨 Harming Trustie or its employees: This includes any harassment or abusive behaviour towards our team or anything that could damage Trustie's reputation.
• 🚨 Acting in a malicious manner including hacking or spreading malware: No inserting viruses, harmful data, or malicious code into the Trustie Platform or any of our operating systems.
• 🚨 Refusing to cooperate with complaints processes: If there's an issue, we require you to help resolve it.
• 🚨 Providing false or outdated information: Keep your profile details accurate and up to date.
• 🚨 Sharing your Trustie account: It's personal to you. Don't let anyone else use it.
• 🚨 Using Trustie in ways that go against our Terms & Conditions: That includes using the Trustie Platform or Services for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful manner, including creating fraudulent profiles.
• 🚨 Violating intellectual property rights: Whether ours or someone else's. This means acting in a manner which infringes upon our or others intellectual property rights, or questioning or disputing the ownership to any intellectual property rights we have in the Trustie business including the Trustie Platform and Services.
• 🚨 Tampering with Trustie's Platform, Services, or security: That means no damaging, overloading, compromising, disabling, impairing or interfering in any way with how Trustie works.
• 🚨 Copying, varying, altering or modifying any part or the whole of Trustie's Platform or Services or permitting it to be combined with other programs: Unless we say so in writing.
• 🚨 Bypassing security or validation measures (in any way): Our security checks are there for a reason.

Businesses and Transactions We Don't Support

Some industries and transactions are off-limits on Trustie.

We don't support payments related to:

• 🚫 Gambling and betting (including casinos, lotteries, syndicates, wagers, off-track betting).
• 🚫 Dating and escort services.
• 🚫 Wire transfers, money orders, or travellers' cheques.
• 🚫 Adult content.
• 🚫 Toll and bridge fees.
• 🚫 Tobacco, narcotics, cannabis, steroids, smart drugs certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety.
• 🚫 Drug paraphernalia (including equipment, product, or material that is modified for making, using, or concealing drugs) or transactions that relate to pharmaceuticals.
• 🚫 Military goods, and semi-military goods and services (including weapons, military software or technologies
• 🚫 Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
• 🚫 Anything related to or that supports terrorism, extremism, violence or insurgency.
• 🚫 Individuals, entities, or countries under international sanctions.
• 🚫 Any other illegal activities.

We also don't provide services to non-financial institutions that involve:

• ❌ Currency conversion services.
• ❌ Money remittance services.
• ❌ Businesses that cash cheques for customers.

What Happens If You Break the Rules?

If you don't follow this policy, you'll be in breach of our Terms & Conditions which means we can take action, including:

• ⚠️ Suspending or closing your Trustie Profile.
• ⚠️ Blocking or limiting access to our Services.
• ⚠️ Investigating and, where necessary, reporting your activity.

We'll decide what appropriate action to take at our sole discretion, based on the situation.
