The Trustie Platform lets you purchase digital gift cards from a variety of retailers and earn Trustie Points as a reward. Here's everything you need to know about how it works.

How Trustie Gift Cards Work

Trustie offers digital gift cards from a variety of retailers which are available for purchase right on the Trustie Platform.

When you buy a gift card:

  • You purchase the gift card and use it according to the retailer's terms and conditions. These terms cover how you can use and redeem the gift card, and they may be different for each retailer.
  • Since gift cards come from external providers, we don't issue them directly - we simply resell them for you.
  • You earn Trustie Points on eligible gift card purchases (see below as how to redeem them).

Things to Check Before You Buy

  • Make sure the Trustie Gift Card fits your needs by reviewing the retailer's website and terms for any restrictions.
  • You can pay through your bank, your Trustie account (if you have enough balance), or an external provider - if you choose an external provider, extra terms might apply.

Receiving Your Trustie Gift Card

  • Once you've paid, you'll get a confirmation email or an in-app notification.
  • Your gift card will typically arrive within a few minutes, but please allow up to 48 hours in exceptional cases (e.g., bank settlement delays or supplier terms & conditions).

Gift cards are non-refundable digital goods.

We're not responsible if you buy a gift card and:

  • You don't use it before it expires.
  • You change your mind or no longer want it.
  • The item you want to buy isn't available.
  • The retailer stops trading.
  • You're unhappy with what you bought - contact the retailer directly to arrange a return, replacement, or refund.

If your card is defective, reach out to support@trustie.co.uk and we'll help you get a replacement. For any other issues, check the retailer's terms and conditions on their website or contact their customer service directly.

How You Earn Trustie Points

When you buy a Trustie Gift Card, you earn Trustie Points on that purchase. The Trustie Platform will show you how many points you can earn and your current balance.

Redeeming Your Trustie Points

  • You can redeem your Trustie Points once you've collected at least £10 in rewards.
  • You can withdraw your Trustie Points to your bank account via Faster Payments (GBP only). There is no fee on withdrawal.

⚠️ Important to Know ⚠️

  • Your Trustie Points are yours to enjoy, but don't forget - they expire 12 months from the date you receive them. Please make sure to redeem them in time so you don't miss out.
  • Points are only valid if your Trustie Profile is active. If your account is suspended, restricted, or closed for any reason, you will not be able to redeem points.
  • While we want to help you earn, there may be times when we need to decline a points payment (for example, if legal restrictions apply or we consider it necessary in the circumstances). We'll try to be fair, but we can't guarantee points will be paid in every situation.

Earning Rewards

Every now and then, Trustie or our partner retailers might offer you special rewards. These are typically promotional offers associated with specific in-app activities or retailer partnerships. You'll find all available offers on the Trustie Platform.

How Rewards Work

To claim a reward, you'll need to agree to the specific terms & conditions posted on the Trustie Platform. These will explain how to redeem the reward, along with any restrictions. When you accept a reward, you're entering a separate agreement with the company offering it.

Retailer Responsibility

Partner retailers are in charge of their own offers, rewards, and any terms that come with them. They're also responsible for the goods and services they provide. That means Trustie isn't responsible for any retailer rewards, purchases, refunds, or disputes. If there's an issue, please reach out to the retailer directly.
